Sunday Morning Falafel Session!

We have been having lots of fun in the kitchen this morning, and I finally managed to perfect my falafel recipe and cooking method. It seems that all I needed was the help of a six year old!

Those falafels look fantastic! And your son is very cute. I am currently looking for a good falafel recipe (as I am a huge fan) and was wondering if you have the one for the falafels you made?

Thank you! The falafel recipe is under my Recipe of the Week in February. Since then I have found that the texture can be improved by putting the chickpeas in the blender first and making sure they are finely ground before adding the other ingredients. This also helps them bind together better. Hope this helps. Paul

Good tip! That’s the great thing about blogging, is all the incidental stuff that people discover and share!) through trial and error. Great looking falafels too and cute lad 🙂

BTW VDad, you mention having the falafel recipe February recipe archives, you should probably include the widget for displaying monthly archives and perhaps as a search function too – otherwise visitors will have to scroll through a long list of archived posts to find the thing they want. Luckily the falafel was at the bottom of the first page: https://pulsecafe.wordpress.com/2013/02/24/recipe-of-the-week-25th-february-2013-falafel-with-roasted-pepper-tabbouleh/
